Main problem is that sabhi log Bihar ke cities ke local population ko hi dekhte hain jo 5-6 lakh hai agar radius ko 10 km aur badha de toh woh 20 lakhs ke paar chala jayega. so metro can be profitable so dont predict early

We need to plan for future, there might be a metro lines for smaller routes, but they will have the ecosystem and thus they can flourish, If public transport will became good it will lured the new investment, we need to start from somewhere, If that not the case then why govt investing a large chunk of rupees on different PLI schemes. If you are talking about revenue go and please check the revenue of muzaffarpur railway station,Bihar already had a lot more to attract investment tourism, agro based industries,leather industry, there are hell lot of religious and historical places to be visited for, we every year gave the large chunk of labours all across the nation, we provide the administrative officers, thousands of engineers at several PSU’s if you will see the data in almost every metro rail corporation, people from Bihar are working there .someday from somewhere we need a kickstart and that can be capital intensive, Just because Bihar is a poor state , It doesn’t mean that they doesn’t deserve the development. When DMRC came to Delhi, the same chaos was there , now can you imagine a day without metro in Delhi, let’s us suppose cities can withstand on certain parameters on the population and per capita , but there can be some pilot projects where we can see the results and implement on other cities. Fostering a sustainable development to all parts of the nation is the need of the hours, we somehow need decentralised systems and scattered population so that our big cities can’t be over burdened with the limited resources. Delhi - water supply crisis, electricity crisis, Bangalore- water crisis , similarly if we not decentralised hubs that witness the growth.

For those who are saying why metro in low population area They are just taking about the main city gaya where population is 6lakh but if if you consider whole gaya district the population is 42 lakhs And that is just the local population almost 5 lakhs tourist visits gaya yearly out of which 60 to 70 percent is international tourist and also there are many people working in gaya but they are not living there they travel daily Any train or bus in bihar is overloaded which has a route to gaya So in Gaya acc to me metro can be build and also they can generate profits And think the area were lakhs of foreign tourist visit yearly shouldnt have a good transport system ? If the approval have been given then most probably it is first given to Gaya Cant say about the other 2 because i dont have full knowlege about that city
